Formulated without being diluted with water, it contains concentrated distilled Ylang Ylang hydrolate. Hydrolates
Steam distillation of the plant's flowers and leaves yields two products: the first is essential oil, the second is hydrolate or aromatic water.
Hydrolate is a water rich in properties: in fact, it retains all those of the essential oil from which it is made, containing about 2% of essential oil itself.
Due to their calming and soothing properties, hydrolates can be very useful on the skin, which is why their pure use on the skin has often replaced the use of traditional toners.
